Hi @Laconic_Investor,

I've had a bit of experience with Ichi Moku. But mostly for CFDs (indices, commodities and FX), not for equities, so the behaviour and appropriateness may vary.

I initially found Ichi Moku helpful, as it provided a good view of lagging, present and future indicators. In the end I found it too complicated for what it actually delivered. There are simpler ways to trade with other indicators that don't clog up the chart. For example, in the end, I found I just used Ichi Moku for the "Cloud" and ignored the other aspects, and used the Cloud in conjuction with other indicators (SMA/EMA) and triangles/trendlines.

Definitely worth a try, and I think for experienced traders, it's best to trial and error with a number of different indicators for a period of time and find out which one best suits you.

Now, I simply used a number of different moving averages (custom), similar to Guppy MMA, which effectively creates my own "Cloud".
