Well clearly you think there is big news afoot, so there's no convincing you, nor would I care to. But to suggest that the only reason could be that there's a deal coming, well the faith you have in PC and co at this point is astounding. I have more faith in the Easter Bunny.
This sort of dreaming and fantasizing is exactly the reason people would gamble a few thousand dollars on a stock they've already lost a bundle on. Especially with tax returns and early super release coming in recently, as I've speculated.
Same mentality that causes people to pump thousands into a particular pokie machine - "this one is due for a payout"
