On another note, talking to a few industry senior advisers about IAM one important fact to note is that there may not be capacity for IAM to service more then one of the big 5 (AMP, NAB, CBA, WBC or ANZ). This would be due to market competitiveness to gain an exclusive advantage on the wealth advice business. Preference would be that AMP is the standout advice business with the banks not valuing advice with either EU's by ASIC or selling their businesses due to lack of profit.
