While we wait for news I thought it would be interesting to see where we’ve come from and what the prevailing views on hotcopper were at that time.
12 months ago to the day, SRT traded 1.4-1.6cps. The main SRT thread on hotcopper seemed to be Our time will come.
The tone of the thread was one of hope and anticipation amid views that shareholders had been played.
Poster M17 provided a good summary of what trading looked like on 12.11.2015 (Post #: 16385705).

forrestfield was as hopeful as ever. It’s hard to believe now but back then he was hoping to break 1.7c!

Gladiator2 explained why shareholders might have been fleeing SRT.

We had of course been waiting on details of the acquisition, details of which were eventually announced on 21.01.2016. It was a testing time then and our patience continued to be tested for much of 2016.
And here we are 12 months later. We know a heck of a lot more than we did back then and from all descriptions the directors of IAM have got something pretty special lined up. I won’t list all the virtues and ambitions of IAM as this has been done by other very talented posters and is very well documented on hc (many thanks to you all).
The hc threads are still full of hope and there are still the detractors and we are eagerly waiting for more news. But as was the case 12 months ago the news will come as it did then and none of us could have imagined the enormity of what was to unfold.
But one things for sure, in the mix of all this the shareprice has appreciated substantially over the 12 months from 1.6c to 4.0c. I can’t wait to see where this story goes in the next 12 months. The news will come, we sort of know what’s coming but I think I for one will be blown away when it does.
