Hey Kiwi, sorry dont want to argue however with respect and good nature; pilot vs trial... in my opinion really it is almost same same (depending upon corp size). As you prolly know I am CTO in multi million private education. I pilot/trial stuff sometimes, but only if its good stuff. I dont have time to waste on bs workflows arguing if its an initial pilot or an arranged trial. And I reckon CBA are even way more adept.... so join the dots. Trial and pilot is really much the same thing in the context of IAM and CBA.
If you really want to argue semantics as a pilot can also be called an experimental trial.
