    I can't comment on the Lower 48 assets, excpt to say I dont like the US as an oil province - IMO it's completely drilled out.

    The word on the street is they have issues with complicated geology in the Amadeus itself, and if Palm Valley/Meerenie are going to keep producing for another ten years, then some "tame cats" (ie riskier than a stepout, but not quite a wildcat) are goanna need to be drilled.
