HC posters reacted to it as it was a statement put into the public domain. The HC forum feeds over the last week speak for themselves in terms of how that was received and interpreted.
TV2U keep mis-communicating IMO and are not sensitive to the fact that communication will be taken on board and form expectations with various stakeholders.
If that big news statement was intended only for the IBC audience then where in all the IBC digital and paper feeds out of the event was this big news announced? It hasn't been so far so your argument has little merit. Any tweet will be picked by by TV2U shareholders watching those feeds.
