The register (at least to the public) only shows the holding of individual by the next day from the date of trading (24 hours interval)

Make it worse, during takeover period, it takes longer for CS to update the register (only when Link informs CS). However, due to the law requirement as User123 said before, change in substantial holding will have to submit to ASX by the next date or change in Directors Notice have to be in 5 days. For example, on Friday, around 60 k shares got to 84 cents so you would expect a change in Director Notice soon.

That's why even I could get the register list last Friday but due to the time lag in updating, I rather let it be some time around end of this week to get a more accurate data.
