Beijing was very cold yesterday but it should move into positive daily temperatures from Saturday for the next week.
Oil price on rise but coal price down???
AFR yesterday highlighted current north Asia gas prices at 6 yr high around 16 vs mid 2020 low of 2 with a forecast 2021 ave of 8 and 2022 forecast ave of 7. Those two year averages going forward are higher than both 2019 and 2020 ave. While the are forecast they would suggest thermal coal should be ok for whc to return to moderate profitability.
How is that rain going in QLD? Any disruption to their operations this summer given that long range forecast had the risk quite high?
