    A tad simplistic but to an extent I see your point, the downside is that when Coking coal prices are strong it increases costs of producing all types of coal so you gotta hope thermal follows to some extent. But to be clear there is very different demand and supply fundamentals at play between thermal and hard coking coal that is a fact that many will dispute. Even Australian Super funds realise this and have exited WHC and moved over to an Australian listed pure met coal producer. DYOR
