On 18th of September shorts were 4.26% and shareprice $0.885, today over 6% and share price $1.08, they have been adding shorts while the price has been rising so they have been playing it wrong for the last few weeks. I wouldn't worry about it, shorts have a lot more to fear than those who are long.
