I have been burnt as well by this problem - the longer it takes be it merger/finance/takeover or government approvals the bigger the risk.
I have been sorely tempted by IBG but have stuck to RVR only because they have all approvals and a plant and infrastructure in place (RVR risk is in shoring up resource which they seem to be slowly resolving)
I wish all holders luck but worry about the time it seems to be taking to get approvals for IBG
