As stated by someone here, PBA is 80% bought out by Commander. Does anyone wanna comment on how this valuation affects the current deflated price of UNW??
The Australian Financial Review --- Page: 48
Commander Communications has acquired 80 per cent of wireless internet company, Personal Broadband Australia for $A5. Under the transaction, it will also pay $A1 for $A18 million in secured convertible notes and give PBA $A15 million in working capital. It will be able to purchase PBA CEO Jim Cooney's remaining 20 per cent share in 36 months' time. Commander has described the deal as "low-risk". One analyst said it could have an impact on the valuation of other similar businesses.
