As part of the future energy conversation efficiency, the fuel cell (IBZ) initiative at 25.09. Stuttgart held with representatives from politics and business, a subsidy program for fuel cells in domestic energy supply of Helmfried Meinel Secretary from the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy was announced for Baden-Württemberg. Meinel emphasized how gratifying it is that for over 10 years, the IBZ pursuing such an important topic and how great is the importance of innovative cogeneration technologies for the energy transition and climate change. He appealed to all stakeholders to work together to advance the fuel cell and the energy change in the boiler room. The other political representatives spoke in the panel discussion, which was led by SWR presenter Dieter Fritz, for support from. John Stober, Member of Parliament and spokesman on energy policy of the SPD parliamentary group in the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg advocated an incentive program that will help the industry to reduce high equipment costs by building a series production permanently. He recalled that the industry should tackle the much needed infrastructure for the energy transition of virtual power plants consistently. In view of the Renewable Heat Act to novellierende BW he spoke of adaptation needs concerning the consideration of fuel at the point of heat provision. Daniel Renkonen, Chairman of the Working Group Environment and Energy of the Alliance 90/The Greens, it turned out, what meaning would cogeneration technologies for Baden-Württemberg. Fuel cell systems are therefore considered in the amendment of the Renewable Heat Act and a future program be set up to Heater modernization. Instead of scrapping with short-term effects, it prefer a promotion to steady rate of modernization. He pointed out to bring the craft in the market and efforts to raise the potential that lies in the industrial field. Paul Nemeth, Member of Parliament and spokesman on energy policy of the CDU faction, believes that the decentralized energy supply always try and pace when it comes to smart grid / smart metering should be faster. Without innovation there is no energy change, so it also applies to foster future technologies. Of the FDP / DVP Group, Dr. Frederick Bullinger, Member of Parliament spoke of for a temporary, degressive designed incentive program. At the decentralization go no way that the technology is mature and the market now necessary. IBZ spokesman Andreas Ballhausen outlined that, given a sliding scale funding program designed fuel cell systems have reached their competitiveness in 2020 and was then expected to a total of around 75,000 plants. A burden for future generations, as you successes by the EEG apportionment for example, would not be so given. On the part of the energy industry informed Uwe Fritz, CEO of EnBW Vertrieb, primarily in a lecture on the challenges in the wake of deregulation and the energy transition had come up to the industry. For customers would customers from prosumer customers, the electricity produced himself. EnBW has the tendency to introduce fuel cell systems in the market, but what was needed a funding program. Dr. Werner Dub, Member of the Board at MVV Energie pointed to the benefits of fuel cell technology distinguished, for example in energy efficiency with CO2 reduction potential of 70 percent for heating exchange or in terms of controllability by the operation of virtual power plants. Initial funding was necessary for the purpose of cost reduction. The opening lecture was given by Prof. Dr. Werner Tillmetz, Head of Electrochemical Energy Technologies at the Center for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research Baden-Württemberg, on "CHP as a component of the energy revolution."
