I think if it was ALP only forming gov it would have been watered down and ineffective. If they want to form government they will likely have to negotiate with 'squeaky clean' independents and greens (who haven't had the chance to get their snouts in the trough yet).Federal ICAC is pretty much the most universally supported policy across Australia (who supports corrupt politicians after all?). As such I expect this to be a big ticket item for the cross bench.
it also doesn't hurt that the current government has been disgusting with their behaviour in the last 2 terms. The place will be bogged down by Morrison government Ministers for years before they can look at Labor...
