I have read an article that postulated that the Antarctic ice would increase to such an extent that the Earth would tilt on it's axis and the entire globe would be upheaved with colossal waves and earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
Whatever happens it's out of our control and planting a few trees or putting up a few solar panels makes absolutely no difference in the grand scheme of things.
