I am not at all naive to the perils of drug use. I am not suggesting there arn't negitive impacts from the use of drugs. What I am saying is that it is alot more effective to explain to people the real life negitive impacts which they may not be able to recognise rather then extremst impacts they are showing. Users watch those adds and think... my habits not that big of a problem, im not punching my mum in the face.. im not headbutting police.. im not like them.. I don't have a problem.

You are the one who is niave. You think using the same failed methods over and over again will achieve results.. it won't. we need to start treating this issue like the public health and saftey or social issue it is. Rather then being alarmist and creating more criminals we should be doing what ever we can to reduce the harm to both the users and society.
