Because there are politicians their now pushing for the legalisation of MDMA so I think your just taking the view of like minded people and then generalising.

If concenting adults choose to part take in drugs and n or alcohole n in their spare time because they feel this is entertaining what is wrong with that? You keep saying it alters reality... but it doesn't it just allows people to change their perceptions.. allows people to think differently, this can be quite beneficial. allowing yourself to think about things from a different point of view can expand your mind and allow you to see possibikities which you didn't realise excisted.

Don't justify your friends habits. Rightly or wrongly they are a problem.
