Gee, nice try and deflection there buddy.
Firstly, I don’t think science is perfect but if the majority of any one academic body all conclude that climate change is real then perhaps they’re right. You know.. people who’ve spent their entire careers studying and learning? As for “alternate science”.. I don’t choose sides on belief, like you. I certainly don’t subscribe to an “ideology”. I follow the evidence. And the evidence is clear, we live in a finely balanced, finite system and because of the laws of physics, there’s always an equal and opposite reaction. Change the composition of the atmosphere and there will be an effect.. pretty straight forward, yeah?
Then you’re talking about costs.. how much is spent on military budgets, or how much food is wasted.. how much money is wasted for all sorts of reasons. The world isn’t fair, there’s enough resources to see all of the world live better lives but it doesn’t happen.. why is that?
If climate change becomes a catastrophic unavoidable issue in the centuries to come can you even begin to imagine the toll on society, the economy and so forth? Deniers “business as usual” attitude is going to come back to haunt future generations. Calling me a “destroyer” is laughable. Almost humorous because it’s so ridiculous. You try to accuse me of self righteousness but you’re doing the exact same thing you fool. And yes it does feel good to try and make a difference.. whether it’s supporting sustainable practices or even simple things. Again, you’re rattling on about climate expenses, R&D, government groups etc yet totally ignoring all the things I stated above? You probably support the military 100% (US$700 billion a year!) while they invade other countries to rape them of resources, displace their people and create terrorist groups etc and pick on a few billion spent towards trying to avoid a foreseeable calamity. Wake up, pull your head out of your butt and think outside the bubble. If that’s even possible.

OK LETS assume that we must stop this global warming, by CO2. Man made is only 3% of the total.
So, if we stop every little wood fire, shut down every power station, every train, every car, truck, even stop the remote russians from burning a little wood to keep warm.
We will reduce the CO2 by 3%
There will still be the 97% that is naturally generated each year.
Not sure about you, but experience shows that if you change only 3% of something it makes absolutely no difference.
