The iceberg creates a misleading market.
If you are a big seller why advertise to the rest of the market.
I could place an order for 200,000 shares, only show the 100,000 and have an ice berg next to my order for the balance.
The market has got no idea how many I want to buy or want to sell.
Spoke to the ASX about it yesterday and they said it was introduced by IRESS as one of their features and there is nothing they can do about it.
