Volt Iceland wasn't defaulting on bonds, which is a substantial difference to the PIIGS. The "Morons" that put their money in Icesave earn't much higher rates of return than term deposits in UK or NL banks, hence risk. To reward failure with stupid bailouts defies belief IMO. The fact that the UK and NL governments bailed out account holders is their decision and their stupidity alone. Remember risk reward?

The people of Iceland have been label with the worst kind of accusations by the EU and IMF thugs whom call 400,000 people terrorist. The real terrorist are the IMF and Gordon Brown for threaten a small nation for a commercial lose. Makes a whole joke of the west in general. War on terror, blah blah.

Good on the people of Iceland for saying no to the bankster terrorists of "the city" for trying to extort them. Stick EU membership up your Caneeckee Nederlands. IMF go back to pilfering the 3rd world. Yes there will be more threats and consequences, and perhaps in the final analysis they would have been better of just giving in and enslaving themselves to this debt. Back to fishing and drinking for a few years.

There's an old saying better to "It's better to die upon your feet than to live upon your knees!"

OK Im bias (I have relatives from Iceland) Do these people look like terrorist? What a disgusting rotten old Empire the UK is.
