"East Well was discovered via analysis of results from an ongoing ultra fine fraction (UFF+) soil program. This involves a physical step to retain the microparticles and then a chemical step to test for the presence of gold and other elements.

The anomaly displays a strong gold-tungsten-tellurium-molybdenum geochemical association believed to be underlain by granodiorite.

Additionally, it has afour-kilometre strike, a two-kilometre width and consists of three priority zones."
