The market knows these projects will go ahead and this improves the service market environment Mermaid operates in. The awards for PSV, laydown, wharf activities for these projects have not been awarded to Mermaid as yet. There will be stiff competition in these segments.
Market price is sub 3 bucks - I don't necessarily support the manipulation theory. Mermaid has been trading in this fashion for the last couple of years.
Mermaid is pretty tightly held and there is no insatiable appetite from buyers currently.
Sure I'd like the SP to be more but I am in no mood to sell. It is trading on a historic multiple of about 14 - pretty good in this environment.
