wrong. a lot has changed, for example, last year the company hired between 150 to 200 new employees "Due to the strong demand for Lemon Sky Studios’ game development services for AAAgames" & growth has been so strong, last quarter the company had to invest $1m into "new property, plant and equipment" to accommodate all this talent, according to the quarterly, mainly to "expand the Lemon Sky Studios’ office space."
this large investment into new property, plant, equipment & talent, is likely why the SBB has been inactive for awhile (
@bakerrrrrr). this is because capital allocation to internally grow the business organically would take precedence over spending cash buying back shares to artificially hold/pump SP; this is only logical, as cash is the lifeblood of every company it needs to be put to work! i think at this stage of our growth, buying back a meaningful amount of shares is dead money.
when cashflow stabilises/improves & if there's surplus, SBB will undoubtedly recommence. until then, i think our cash is better preserved for the "unicorn opportunities", invested internally, saved for developing our own IP, marketing for game launches etc. it's time to invest for growth, & that's what i'm seeing
