Has there been any discussion on how iCandy has 300+ games in the portfolio (thanks to Animoca purchase) yet they only rely on a handful of titles to earn revenue. The Crab War game wasn't even part of that $5M aud acquisition.
These 300+ games are part of the 350M installs they describe as their 'community' but this is just total installs over time. It doesn't take into account any uninstalls. So do they have an updated figure of 'active installs' which would be a better indication of the audience they can promote to.
the numbers don't add up for me but could be im missing something.
disclosure: i run a game studio that also makes mobile games, so I know a little bit about what studios know in terms of information about their portfolio of titles.
