If anyone wants a great read, take a look at Santos's yearly report!!

They ARE big time and IMO will play a serious part in BPT's and ICN's future plans for 218 and 855. Even Moomba-1 is a "highlight" and frankly, every well N.E. of Moomba-1, i.e. 218 and, the "sweet spot" of the Nappamerri Trough, 855, must be tantalizing Santos and "others" as to their potential prospectivity.
If Santos can highlight Moomba-1, which really is in the "poorer" section of the Nappamerri Trough, with a stabilized flow rate of mid 2MMscfd, as it has been commercialized, what does that say for all of Beach's and Halifax-1 in 218 and 855??

However, the market continues to tar us with the CSG brush and we are suffering accordingly.

But, they seemed to have missed, or not understood, the significance of a couple of huge points in outcomes from State Premiers. N.S.W. has really tightened the screws on CSG, serious problems for CSG developers.
Yet, Qld very happy to release the brakes on shale oil (gas) and strongly supports its development "to create thousands of jobs and boost the Qld economy". So much so that the "green lobby" are denouncing them. And they are both LNP Premiers.

All good news for Cooper Basin shale gas. That is why R.J. is so glad that 855 is in QLD and especially in the middle of nowhere, except for thousands of miles of infrastructure and pipelines!!!

But, "the market" has not made that distinction and we go down the gurgler with those poor CSG punters. There is NO logic to what is happening to BPT's and ICN's S.P. and it will take continuous input of positive information to reverse the trend.

Even Robert Gottliebsen in today's Business Spectator, is getting hysterical about the huge "threat" to Australia's LNG and coal because China is "saying" that it will "use less in the future" and the massive developments in the U.. and the Middle East. He has nearly written off our coal and LNG industries?
Doesn't help at all, but, it sure makes having that signed GSA safely tucked away in R.J's pocket look better by the day and must surely be a huge trump card in R.J.'s negotiations. You wouldn't imagine that there will be many (any) more GSA's tied to the Singapore Tapis oil price from now on.
Must be very desperate to say something, "anything", to satisfy those very expensive salaries!!
