Depends on the Americans really. They control enough of the traditional financial infrastructure that the usual methods of transaction are subject to their political rhetoric. Remember recently when the TSX issued a release regarding listed companies with assets in the USA?

TBH, if someone can come up with a viable alternative, and the industry had faith in it, they would be supplying something in great demand.

My only question is - Why this coin instead of other ones already established?

Forget bitcoin, it has name recognition but it's aging in technical terms, and unlike wine, tech does not get better with age, which is why BTC transaction fees are no longer competitive versus traditional banking. There are plenty of other coins though that provide superior anonymity for the purchaser, with lower transaction fees and faster payment confirmation.

I'd be intersted in hearing more, but there's so many ICOs these days it is prudent to be a little skeptical of newcomers.
