It will be interesting to see how they divide their time between Perth and Hayle. Perth looks to be the place where they first deploy Ceto6.
Tim Sawyer, Chief Executive Officer, Carnegie Wave Energy Ltd
"From Successful Operation of the Perth Wave Energy Project to Commercialising the CETO Technology Carnegie has completed 14,000 operational hours of its grid connected Perth Wave Energy Project (PWEP). Outputs from the project form an integral part of the design and development of CETO6, offering a higher rated capacity and increased efficiency required to deliver a competitive levelised cost of energy. CETO6 will be designed and demonstrated through a funded project in Western Australia, followed by a pre-commercial UK deployment to adapt and industrialise the technology ahead of a 15MW commercial array in 2020. This presentation will summarise development to date, and the key challenges remaining to commercialise CETO in the UK and Europe."
