    Monopoly, further to your point... . They obviously were not expecting the fall in share price because if they had, they surely would have waited to commence the buy-back now.
    Also if they have faith in the company, why are they not buying more back now? Strange.
    As Ivanovich says, maybe they didn't "expect the unexpected"!!!
