My thoughts too.

The idea is undoubtedly sound, given the aging population and shortages of resources in the disability and aged care sectors. It just makes financial and practical sense to enable people to live independent lives as long as possible.

The problem is that this technology needs to be widely adopted and reach a critical mass quickly, otherwise you risk all of that R&D and current stock becoming obsolete as technology moves on so quickly.

We need the State & Federal Governments to get on board by funding the product in a wide area trial, with a view to potentially providing ongoing funding through the NDIS and aged care sectors. The private sector and retail sales alone won't drive this to a point of profitability imo.
