A settlement is in the interest of AVZ shareholders, Kobold, DRC especially the patently corrupt Ministers, and lets not forget all legal teams and the Courts. They would all be happy to get paid without the stoush.

Time is running out for DRC - my main concern is that the corrupt ones still influence DRC decisions to the extent that pride gets in the way of common sense - not uncommon with litigants. For the DRC politicial heirarcy to bend, Kobold and US interests will have to talk hard ball.

The prize in sight but the politics is still unpredictable. If the DRC were to run the ICSID case - no matter the merits -delays will ensue. We still have no grasp on the extent of Chinese influene. Looks like DRC are playing two poker games and the Chinese have done OK so far.

I suggest that it is typical all litigants are over confident of their position before a fight - but most fights in civil courts settle (say 80%)

We just have to be patient - play each ball thats thrown as the Board have done (not without some disclosure concerns) and see how it all falls out in due time.

Those talking of $10B are dreaming - but whats wrong with that. Id be happy to get my money back on the last listed price. The rest is a bonus.
