Dont really agree with you there as the resource can be upgraded with a lower cut off,first resource was at cut off 1g/t,if this resource is using 0.5g/t then alot more tonnage will be calculated into the jorc.
The choice of 0.5 g/t as the
lower cut-off grade for each deposit will be based on economic considerations for an open pit scenario, current gold prices and geological factors structure,mineralisation characteristics. If the deposits display a natural cut off
around the 0.5 g/t Au level this should be reflected in the statistical analysis of the assay grades for the deposits. The deposits will have to be further sub – divided into oxide, transitional and fresh domains based on both RC and diamond drill logging data.Which all of the above is going on right now and will find out soon enough, my guess 2.4-2.5m gold eq with a further upgrade to 3m by mid 2012.There are still multiple targets to drill so an expanding resource will be the norm in the next 2 years.IMO
