I always like to apply other signals with the fibs, such as the candle pattern mentioned, probably just as much success as any other method - rule here is once I've set it up don't dare get tempted to change it, learnt a long time ago to be flexible with charting and not be too pedantic about the "rules".

I should have also mentioned the first large white as well, half way up that one is close enough to the 61.8% retrace, another area to watch if IDC goes the wrong way.
