Oh, I think I have got it now.

No no, I am completely positive about what is being done in PNG. My concerns are self evident with regard to what I have referred to as IDC's millstone.

Not hard to fix with some effective board action, control and REPORTING (yeah sure) of what is or has been done to resolve what I believe could take the shine off some massive achievements that have been reported and assessed very well by some of the incredibly clever and able posters here.

I believe that if you look at the very good posts by such as nectar and take the other posters "realistic" views of what is actually going on with our funds, the picture is much clearer and thus well worth pursuing. It is a pity that the strength of the majors is never really felt by the company due to the given lip service combined with "insightful" assessments of what is happening just keeps them quiet.

I am not sure of what the collective power of the independents ie smaller share holders amounts to, but it would be an interesting calculation to do. I can count on quite a few, in particular those that bought early (and advised us to get in) and were not happy about the Co's earlier performance. Lets say enough to call a meeting, but we are normally very passive and are too busy to do it. I am just sick and tired of being asked why we hold the position when we are told what we know. Fortunately, with regards to Mt Kare, we dont have to say too much.

My parting comment is that, we get our information about what is going on in IDC, in particular PNG, from forums like this rather than from the standard response we are given by the Co.
