I couldn't disagree more. I think a win by Obama will give a lift to US mood even if only temporary, and I see DOW benefiting. I am an avid follower of US political process. I've seen comments there that McCain is seen as follower of same old ecomomic system which many in US consider has completely failed them. US desperate for fresh change and it appears more cred in being given at moment to Obama rather than McCain. In regard Australia, I do not see how our current position would be any different whatever party won last election. Anybody with any financial sense could see this coming from years back. I nearly choked when I saw Peter Costello in USA say that its not just a coincidence an economic downturn occurred after he wasn't re-elected, what modesty.
