Just another thought. The issues with concerns about Health and Safety regarding things like dust and storage and dam wall etc.

I think the key point is that Greenland is quite different in many respects regarding the population versus other jurisdictions that being the Indigenous People run the Government. in that respect the policing of mine operations and complying with all health and safety Rules including environmental becomes a direct interface between the Indigenous authority and any mine Or other development.

The other issue that I think is important and has had some mention in the news. Is:
That China would prefer full Independence as in their view it would be easier to deal with Greenlanders certainly in respect to loans and able then to excert influence because of money owed... As experienced by many small nations that have had infrastructure built some unnecessary.
many of these points are covered in some of the recent News Stories about China and Greenland.
