Ministers only attend positive announcements in my experience. Not the scheduled time for the announcement is right on market close.

Gas producer Origin Energy Ltd will make an announcement regarding its Australia Pacific Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project with US energy giant ConocoPhillips and Federal Resources Minister, Martin Ferguson.
Origin said in a statement that its chief executive, Grant King, together with the federal energy minister and ConocoPhillips senior vice president for exploration and production, Rian Lance, would make the announcement in Brisbane at 1615 AEST on Thursday.
Queensland Minister for Finance, Rachel Nolan, also would attend the announcement at Queensland's Parliament House.
Shares in Origin Energy went into a trading halt on the Australian stock exchange, as the company prepared for the announcement.
Australia Pacific LNG's key project is a proposed LNG production plant at Gladstone, in southwest Queensland.
The project, a joint venture with ConocoPhillips, is nearing its final investment decision.
Origin shares closed on Wednesday at $16.23.
