So far there is no single cure for HCV. It is at best twin therapy. BIT is twice a day and would be, at best an adjunct in a minimum of cases with another DAA which should be once a day. However the payers are revolting and writing scripts for cheaper and far less effective regimes than Harvoni. That is BITs target. BIT would be a twice a day addition to a single regime. It's market is limited in HCV and being covered better by the day. Regulus has actually, recently cured one patient with a single injection and will soon have results out for higher doses. RG-101 is pangenotype. That might upset the apple cart a BIT. But.... As I showed in the link I posted last week, the market is changing and a price war looms. So do one shot treatments etc. but payers will have a wide range of combos to choose from.

A partner for the US trial, in order to save money on expensive drugs, will be of the most interest. The alternative is dilution, lots of it.
