I don't know if I'm writing this in the right part of the forum. I just want to share my story and seek your advice.
I was a victim of identity theft, which resulted in a credit history lock on my accounts, but I have noticed that false information has reappeared on my accounts. Identity theft should be stopped at the bank by blocking all credit cards, but I have applied several times already and have been denied. Who do I turn to in this case? Do I go straight to court and file an application against the bank? I am a bit lost and don't know how to proceed. I hope I can find some help or at least a recommendation here. Thank you.
