Is there a motive for the Israelis to kill foreign aid workers given it costs them international support?
According to the IDF rep one of those responsible for the decision is a reservist. They might just lack self discipline and be guided by hate like some of the Palestinians are. The IDF rep said that the investigation isn't complete. They haven't decided if criminal charges are warranted. If they did press charges I'd expect Israeli citizens would be up in arms.
