@nursery; are you aware that the purpose of Hot Copper's Politics Forum is for robust political debate?
My humanitarian values dictate that the slaughter of civilians by military forces is a red-hot issue which should NOT be ignored and indeed should be subjected to the blast furnace of public transparency.
Since I'm neither aligned to nor have any links whatsoever to any political / religious organisation of any kind whatsoever and as someone in his mid seventies I do NOT engage in street protests etc. It's my choice instead to raise perspectives I perceive as otherwise missing from this forum.
I suspect you cannot credibly claim that of yourself though.
