Malaysia’s state-owned Petronas has won an extension to its LNG supply contract with China’s JOVO and has pledged to expand its presence in the Chinese market further.
The contract extension until 2023 was signed recently by Petronas and JOVO through their respective subsidiaries and will “ensure a stable and significant increase of LNG supply” to the Chinese company, Petronas said on May 26 (2016), without giving any specific figures.
I think you could almost call this a 1.5MPTA deal once the trade war ends, their current deal runs out at a time we are targeted to bring maggie online. That coupled with their other investment in canada not coming to FID till 2021, also noteworthy is their investment in the canada project was HK$25 mil whereas their investment in LNG LTD was HK$167 Mil.
Topped up yesterday at 40c, what a blessing that was, I had orders in last week at the 50c support level and pulled them when wall st tanked to wait and see what happened.
