Hi Scottie, I'd do it all again. It was great to spend that time with my mum whilst she was still reasonably cognitive. We created some great memories and many positive things came from it for me, including meeting my current wife while on 'respite' leave overseas.
Sadly, mum is declining quite rapidly now, but I was warned this would be the case. Cheers.
