Twice in recent times, whilst walking along the Yarra river, I have been nearly run over by a cyclist with absolutely no respect for anyone else on the path, a path designated for cyclists AND pedestrians. Both times I was treated as if cyclists are the only people entitled to use this path.

On another occasion, due to the numerous stalls during one of those Chinese festivities, everyone was jammed very tight, with all the cyclist pushing thier bikes. This elderly gentleman accidentally (he was being pushed by the crowd from behind) 'touched' a woman's bicycle wheel. The obscenties that emanated from this woman's (no,I won't call her a lady)frontal orifice would have done a builders' labourer proud.

It's about time these cycling bullies were brought to heel!
