I received this from OMH regarding the idle furnaces in Sarawak and China. Its pretty much as I expected.
Of the 4 furnaces, 2 idled furnaces are planned for conversion to produce manganese alloys, while the other 2 furnaces will berestarted once feasible. This is very much however, dependent on the availability of foreign skilled manpower at the plant. Application for foreign workers to enter Malaysia is progressing, subject to the approvals of relevant authorities in Malaysia. The furnacesin China are anticipated to restart within the 1st half of 2021.
I am away for a break so will read about whats happening early next year, good to see contributions from new holders on here, have a good Christmas and hopefully 2021 will be a good one for OMH and the planet as a whole, I wont miss 2020.
