Interesting thoughts,
but sometimes we read too much into a low shareprice. In response to your points i add my own thoughts,
1 As of 2 weeks ago the purchase was still on track according to the investor relations guy at PMS, i would have thought that we would have found out by now if dd found any major problems with the purchase.
2 Why would they want to issue new shares with the sp at year lows, they are saying that they {and the banks} are happy to finance the deal rather than issue cheap equity.
3 I belive tox already had a look at dmx and were happy that they dodged a bullet on that one, also with tpi on the register it would be hard to get a deal across the line, can not imagine tpi want to do a competitor any favours, remember tpi payed a lot more for the shares than the current price.
4 The current price is a reflection of the small cap market at the moment, tox is hardly on its own in this regard, but on friday we had another fund put up a substantial notice,
As for tpi taking over tox, i certainly do not want tpi paper, i dont believe the tox board would sell for anything near these prices, and i am certain that the instos would not, they are all in at north of 2.00 a share.
Its a waiting game but i think that the next set of figures and forward comment is crucial to the future sp, i might be wrong but on friday when the depth looked terrible there was some stepping up of the buyers, be interesting to see what happens tomorrow
Interesting thoughts, but sometimes we read too much into a low...
