Moderna has filed to set up a local company but that doesn’t mean much at this stage. The government has ordered 10 million doses this year and 15 million next year. I don’t think any facilities can be set up so quickly to produce these doses but IDT could be involved in fill and finish. Moderna has outsourced this with other companies so it could do that with the 25 million doses.

IMO the most likely near term opportunity for IDT is to be involved with the production of Novavax. The government has ordered 51 doses and Novavax has looking for a local partner.

Setting up MRNA facilities would be massive for IDT but is long term. Maybe they could do a JV with Moderna.
