Let’s not forget that becoming Australia’s mRNA producer is not the only prize. The government wants to source the key ingredients here too.
IDT has a 40+ year track record of producing similar ingredients. Then there is the fill and finish.
Even if CSL get the main contract, there is still plenty to go around for IDT. The fact that their Boronia facility is only a 45 min drive from CSL would help too.
