I think it's this simple, companies that are making noise about their capabilities have not signed NDAs, and they wouldn't be blabbing on about what they can and can't do. It's the ones that are recently silent that are saying nothing that are in contention.
the question also has to be asked, will Moderna/Astrazeneca/ others be happy having competing products manufactured in the same facility? It's not like there is any IP to protect.
i don't believe for a second even with Chinese walls IP wouldn't leak, supplier agreements GMP processes. Etc

So the question then has to be asked is it build/buy/partner and how quickly.
