In the announcement back in August last year, IDT said they were working with the Australian government but it went nowhere. It appeared the government dithered rather than getting on with the job.
This time around, IDT appears to have seen the same thing happening and is more proactive in getting its message out.
Today's article is on the front page of The Age/SMH and will definitely put pressure on the government to act. I'd be surprised if we don't see a sharp move up in the share price off the back of this publicity.
